Indian Temples In Newzealand- A Place To worship God

God is every were irrespective of states, countries, people and religion. In Newzealand there are some popular Indian Temples that have thousands of devotees worshiping god every day. Lets have a brief look over some of these temples.

1.Bharatiya Mandir Temple

Address -252-254, Balmoral Rd Balmoral, Auckland, NZ 1003 Ph 09-8462677

The Bharatiya Mandir provides for the Auckland Hindu community, including celebrations of important festivals, social and cultural services, and Sunday classes in music and languages (Hindi, Gujerati and Sanskrit). Built in 1993 (Savant 2049) this temple is distinguished by the tall and elegant white dome on top. The main doors of the temple face over Balmoral Road, while the vehicle entry and parking area is behind the temple in Arabi Street. 

2.Subramaniam temple

Address-41, Stanhope Rd, Ellerslie, Auckland, NZ 1005 Ph 09-2638854

Thiru Subramaniam Temple of Auckland was established by New Zealand Hindu Temple Society in 1996. We whole heartedly welcome you to our temple. Here is some information for you to visit the Temple. We are glad to say that we conduct all poojas and abishekam for Murugan, Ganesha, Linga Thirupathi, Iyyappa, Amman and Navagraha.

3.Radha Krishn Mandir

Adderess -145, New North Rd, Eden Terrace, Auckland, NZ 1003 Ph 09-3794463


The temple from 6pm to 9pm everyday followed by Prasadam. For the first time, we have organised a special Bhagavatam Agnihotra Yajna on 1 September 2010 followed by the Janmashatami celebrations on 2 September 2010.

mam evaisyasi satyam te  

pratijane priyo 'si me

"Always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me and offer your homage unto Me. Thus you will come to Me without fail. I promise you this because you are My very dear friend."(BG 18.65 )

To enable everyone to have this wonderful opportunity of serving the Lord by thinking of him and worshiping him, we would like all of you to come and hear Srimad Bhagavatam and relish the glories of the Lord.
